{"id":151,"date":"2016-12-31T13:39:59","date_gmt":"2016-12-31T21:39:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wp.evanyamoto.com\/?p=151"},"modified":"2016-12-31T13:39:59","modified_gmt":"2016-12-31T21:39:59","slug":"usc-and-the-rose-bowl","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/evanyamoto.com\/blog\/2016\/12\/31\/usc-and-the-rose-bowl\/","title":{"rendered":"USC and the Rose Bowl"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>USC is headed to the Rose Bowl in a few days and I&#8217;m anxiously awaiting the game. \u00a0I keep thinking I have to wake up early tonight and head up there, but it&#8217;s not until the 2nd this year.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve gone to every Rose Bowl USC has been in since I was a student. \u00a0I went my senior year in 1997 and it was such a fun experience.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-146\" src=\"https:\/\/evanyamoto.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/Rose-Bowl-2007-1024x347.jpg\" alt=\"USC Rose Bowl\" width=\"840\" height=\"285\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We went pretty regularly during the Pete Carroll era when we weren&#8217;t going to the Orange Bowl. \u00a0We went so often that a lot of our fans were complaining about it, but I definitely knew better.<\/p>\n<p>I hate the stadium, but it&#8217;s always a special game. \u00a0This was from both the best and worst of them all.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-144\" src=\"https:\/\/evanyamoto.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/IMG_0122-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"USC Rose Bowl\" width=\"840\" height=\"630\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I hope it turns out better in a few days, but truthfully, I&#8217;m just so happy we made it this year after a horrendous start. \u00a0We haven&#8217;t been in what feels like forever (8 years) and that&#8217;s when I know we really are spoiled at USC.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>USC is headed to the Rose Bowl in a few days and I&#8217;m anxiously awaiting the game. \u00a0I keep thinking I have to wake up early tonight and head up there, but it&#8217;s not until the 2nd this year.
