{"id":250,"date":"2015-09-26T22:55:52","date_gmt":"2015-09-27T06:55:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wp.evanyamoto.com\/?p=250"},"modified":"2015-09-26T22:55:52","modified_gmt":"2015-09-27T06:55:52","slug":"gave-in-to-the-minivan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/evanyamoto.com\/blog\/2015\/09\/26\/gave-in-to-the-minivan\/","title":{"rendered":"Gave In to the Minivan"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I was ok selling my BMW for my wife&#8217;s car, but we held out on the minivan for as long as we could. \u00a0After our incident with the 4Runner, my mom insisted on getting us a new car. \u00a0I would&#8217;ve driven the 4Runner for a couple more years before eventually giving in and buying\u00a0a van.<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;ve talked to other parents and everyone feels the same. \u00a0It&#8217;s something you fight and fight, but once you give in, you realize it&#8217;s great and you don&#8217;t know how you did without it.<\/p>\n<p>This is our 2015 Toyota Sienna XLE and it&#8217;s been awesome. \u00a0Really.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/evanyamoto.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/IMG_2378.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-184\" src=\"https:\/\/evanyamoto.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/IMG_2378-1024x731.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"840\" height=\"600\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We had to take it on 4-5 trips to northern California already. \u00a0Some of the trips were pretty rough but the van made it as comfortable as it could be.<\/p>\n<p>And on a side note, I had a great sales experience with Tustin Toyota. \u00a0I don&#8217;t mind the car buying process, but they made everything as easy and didn&#8217;t try to add anything extra. \u00a0They have this old Land Cruiser there so I sent a picture of this to my wife to tell her I bought it instead.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/evanyamoto.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/IMG_2373.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-183\" src=\"https:\/\/evanyamoto.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/IMG_2373-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"840\" height=\"630\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I was ok selling my BMW for my wife&#8217;s car, but we held out on the minivan for as long as we could. \u00a0After our incident with the 4Runner, my mom insisted on getting us a new car. \u00a0I would&#8217;ve driven the 4Runner for a couple more years before eventually giving in and buying\u00a0a van.
