It was made of teak, so we both knew it would look great when it it was refinished, but they were ready for something else.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So we got it home and I sanded it down.  I can&#8217;t remember what teak oil I used but it was probably the Watco one since I used the Starbrite on my <a href=\"http:\/\/www.evanyamoto.com\/blog\/index.html?pid=500\">wife&#8217;s desk<\/a> &#8211; and I found my wrench.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/evanyamoto.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/IMG_1031-1024x768.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-408\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I sanded and tested a small section and it looked great, so I kept going.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/evanyamoto.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/IMG_1034-1024x768.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-409\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It was all cleaned up but it looked pretty plain.  So I wiped on some teak oil and it looked much better.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/evanyamoto.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/IMG_1048-1024x768.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-410\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We weren&#8217;t found of the chairs, but we took them apart and my wife is working on a project with the reclaimed wood.  They also gave us a lounge chair seen in the background, but I haven&#8217;t gotten around to working on this and just end up sitting on it.
